Bobcat Softball Locks Up MEC Regular Season Crown

WVWC will be the number one seed in the MEC Tournament and will play Notre Dame (Ohio) in Salem, Va. on Friday (May 6) at noon.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced the 2022 postseason conference tournament schedule on Tuesday (May 3). West Virginia Wesleyan secured the number one seed in the south division and the best overall conference record after finishing 23-7 in MEC play.

The Bobcats are slated to play Notre Dame (Ohio) on Friday (May 6) at James I. Moyer Complex in Salem, Va. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

WVWC will play a second game on Friday versus an MEC opponent in the double-elimination event. Updates and live stream/live stat links will be available on the MEC Softball Championship Central at this link.
