The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats played Frostburg State University at home in the Rockefeller Center. Both teams came into the matchup with one conference win each. The Bobcats would lose the match 3-1, winning the first set 25-19, then dropping the final 3 sets 23-25, 20-25, and 25-21.
During the first set, the Bobcats got off to hot start, taking the first set. Lead by senior,
Hope Arce-Reed, who totaled 11 kills on the night along with freshman,
Emily Denison with 9 kills.
Autumn Molenhouse totaled 25 assists as well before an injury that happened later in the match. The Bobcats would go on to lose a close set 2, 23-25 after a controversial call in favor of Frostburg at point 23-24. The bobcats of Frostburg State University were led by Beverly Braun, who totaled 24 kills and Amanda Knieper with 11 kills. Defensivley, Hayley Delor and AJ Thompson both totaled 5 block assists each as well as McKaily Moran-Thompson with 4 block assists.
