BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan Baseball will start Mountain East Conference play tomorrow (Mar. 20) against Alderson Broaddus and Tuesday (Mar. 21) against Notre Dame College (Ohio) at home. The games were originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday but weather forced them to be pushed back.

Monday vs Alderson Broaddus at 2 & 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday vs Notre Dame College at 1 & 3:30 p.m.
THE BOBCATS
Wesleyan enters (4-8) overall and is riding a three-game winning streak with a win over Wayne State College and a pair of wins at Bluefield State.
Jack Tilton has been the leader on offense for the Bobcats, posting a .426 AVG with a 1.068 OPS. Tilton has 20 hits, three doubles, one triple, 1 HR and 11 RBI as well.
Thatcher Poteat is batting .400 with 14 hits, two doubles and 12 RBI to aid the offense.
Hunter Eplin picked up a complete-game win earlier in the season and has 11 strikeouts on the year.
ALDERSON BROADDUS BATTLERS
The Battlers enter (5-7) overall and are losers in six out of their last seven. AB lost three out of four against Bluefield State.
Joey Alcorn is batting .500 with 21 hits, five doubles, 1 HR, 16 RBI and a 1.270 OPS to lead the Battlers. Chandler Ballenger leads AB in HR with 3 and also has drove in 10 RBI with a .365 AVG.
Zac Mishler enters his second season as the Head Coach of the Battlers. In total, Mishler is in his fifth season with the program as he spent the first three as an assistant coach. He started his coaching career as an assistant at St. Joseph's College (Ind.).
NOTRE DAME COLLEGE FALCONS
The Falcons enter (0-9) overall and have given up 136 runs over those nine losses.
Maximilian Schweiger leads NDC with a .333 AVG. Tyler Shadle has a .300 AVG with six hits, 1 HR and 3 RBI.
Len Baker is in his 11
th season as Head Coach of the Falcons. Baker joined the staff in 2010 and was the interim HC for one season in 2012. Baker spent 11 seasons in the MLB (1976-85, 1987), where he threw the 10
th perfect game in the history of MLB and was an American League All-Star in 1981.
