BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan Softball looks to continue their hot (7-1) conference start tomorrow at home against Davis & Elkins. The midweek MEC matchup was originally scheduled to be played at Davis & Elkins but has been moved to Buckhannon. The April 12
th doubleheader with D&E will now be played on the road in Elkins.

THE BOBCATS
Wesleyan enters (20-7) overall and (7-1) in MEC play. WVWC has won six in a row and have shutout their opponents in five-straight games. The Bobcats defeated Glenville State and Concord on the road this past weekend.
The offense is led by
Morgan Norris, who is hitting .324 with 24 hits, six doubles, three triples, 2 HR and 21 RBI with a .990 OPS.
Taylor Swartz ties Norris for the team lead in hits and doubles while adding two triples and 13 RBI.
Kendall Stoffel now leads the MEC in wins (9) and
Hannah Hudson sits in 2
nd with 8. Stoffel's 1.21 ERA ranks her 2
nd and Hudson's 1.63 ERA puts her 3
rd in the conference.
Abigail O'Shields has lowered her ERA down to 3.11 while striking out 47 batters over 45 innings of work.
DAVIS & ELKINS SENATORS
The Senators enter (8-18) overall and (2-6) in MEC play. D&E has lost five out of their last six, including losing three out of four this weekend with Concord and Glenville State.
Linzey Allard leads Davis & Elkins, hitting .372 with 32 hits (T-2
nd MEC), five doubles, one triple, 1 HR and 15 RBI. Anjolina Gutierrez also has 1 HR and 15 RBI for the Senators. Vanessa Hunt posts a 4.99 ERA with a 3-8 record in 16 appearances this season.
Ellie Fracker is in her third season at the helm for the Senators. Last season, she led D&E to a  22-10 record in the MEC, finishing 2
nd in the South Division behind Wesleyan. Fracker has previously spent time as the HC at Fort Lewis and was the recruiting coordinator for the USA Athletes International in Colorado.
