BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory over West Liberty earlier today at home. With the win, the Bobcats are back to .500 in MEC play at (3-3).
Doubles Play
All three doubles matches were extremely tight with Wesleyan being able to win two of the matches. The teams of
Camillo Salvi and
Kevin Lin as well as
Emanuel Mallya and
Kihiro Karasawa won 7-5 and 7-6 but
Anthony McIntosh and
Andreas Hald Dige fell in a close match 7-5.
Singles Play
The Bobcats dominated singles play, capturing five of the six matches.
Kihiro Karasawa took the first singles match, followed by
Emanuel Mallya's victory.
Camillo Salvi and
Kevin Lin also picked up wins and
Andreas Hald Dige took home the victory in the last singles match of the day.
