Preview: Wesleyan Tennis Set For MEC Matches With Frostburg State & Fairmont State

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan Men's and Women's Tennis teams are set to get back into MEC action with a home match tomorrow with Frostburg State at 4 p.m. and on the road at Fairmont State at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Bobcats
The men enter (6-4) overall and (1-0) in MEC play. The Bobcats had their four-match winning streak snapped at Edinboro on Sunday 5-2. Wesleyan opened MEC play last week with a win at West Virginia State 4-0.

The women enter (1-9) overall and (1-2) in MEC play. The Bobcats lone win was last Wednesday at home against Davis & Elkins 3-1.

The Opponents
Frostburg State
Frostburg's men come in (4-8) overall and (0-2) in MEC play. FSU has won three out of their last four matches, defeating West Chester their last time out 4-3.

Frostburg's women come in (8-7) overall and (0-2) in MEC play, having their four-match win streak broke against West Chester 4-3 on Sunday afternoon.

Fairmont State
The Falcon men enter (8-1) overall and this will be their opener in MEC play as their match with West Virginia State was postponed earlier in the season. Fairmont's lone loss was at Edinboro, who the Bobcat men just fell to on Sunday.

The Falcon women enter (9-3) overall and (0-1) in MEC play as their MEC loss was to West Liberty earlier in the season, a squad the Bobcats lost to as well. Fairmont was victorious their last time out on Sunday against Salem 5-2.
