Institute, W.Va.- The Bobcat Volleyball team played West Virginia State University for the second time in the regular season, Tuesday. After losing the last match in a 3-0 sweep, the Bobcats were looking to split the series with the Yellow Jackets.

The Bobcats took set 3, 27-25, to force a 4th set but the Jackets prevailed 25-18. For Wesleyan, attack errors were prevalent with a 7.9% hitting percentage. The Yellow Jackets tallied 13 serving aces and 14 blocks at the net, proving to be a key difference maker in the match.

Notable performers for the Bobcats included Alauna Wilson, who led the team with 12 kills. Emily Dension collected 7 kills along with 15 digs. Lisadarelyn Grassals and Bhrooke Axe had 6 kills each and Axe recorded 4 block assists. Alexis Moeschler led the team in digs with 18 along with 1 assist. 

The Bobcats will play its final regular season match at home against David and Elkins College on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
