Wesleyan Falls to Wheeling 84-63

The Bobcats traveled to Wheeling University, Wednesday and dropped its fourth straight contest 84-63.

Wesleyan's Curtis Litton tied his season high 16 points to lead all Bobcats. Ironically, one of his other 16-point efforts was also against Wheeling back in December. Litton shot 7-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.

Jalen Canada also had a good night against Wheeling as he did back in December when he scored a personal high 20 points against the Cardinals in Buckhannon. He dropped 12 points on 6-of-12 from the field and had four rebounds.

Also scoring in double digits for Wesleyan was Joshua Jordan with 10 points that included a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.

The Mountain East Conference's top scorer this season, Wheeling's Marcus Johnson, made 5-of-7 from the field for 12 points. Teammate Tee Harris had a double-double and game high 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Wesleyan welcomes West Liberty University to the Rockefeller Center Saturday, Feb. 10 at 4 p.m.
