The Wesleyan women's soccer team kicked off the 2025 season with a scoreless 0-0 draw against Pitt-Johnstown on Sunday afternoon at Culpepper Stadium.
Despite controlling possession, outshooting the Mountain Cats 16-5, and generating multiple scoring chances, the Bobcats were unable to find the back of the net in the season opener.
The Bobcats' backline—led by

Grisez was particularly dangerous, firing four shots—two on goal—including a powerful strike in the 79th minute that forced a diving save.
Isabella Pinczel made a strong debut with two shots on goal, while
Ava Badallo, Ice, and
Paloma Zamora also created quality chances throughout the match.
Wesleyan held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks, all of which came in the second half.
