Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Tops Frostburg State 1-0

Frostburg, MD-- The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats Men's Soccer team would take on the Frostburg State University Bobcats in a Conference match. The Wesleyan Bobcats come into the game with a 5-2-1 overall record and a 4-1-1 Conference record. The Frostburg State Bobcats would come into the match with a 3-5-1 overall record and a 3-4-1 Conference record. This would be the first time the Wesleyan Bobcats and the Frostburg State Bobcats matched up for a NCAA game. 

The Wesleyan Bobcats would strike in the 40th minute as time would be winding down, Nika Monaselidze would drill the only goal of the night, putting the Wesleyan Bobcats up 1-0 as they take the momentum heading into the locker room. 

At the end of the first half Frostburg State would have 5 shots and the Wesleyan Bobcats would have 6. 

In the second half, both teams would put up 4 shots a piece but would get nothing to find the back of the net. Jeremy Collins would come up with a couple of clutch saves in the second half, recording four saves on the night.

The Wesleyan Bobcats took the game 1-0 and would move to 3-6-1 and the Frostburg State Bobcats drop to 3-6-1. 

The Wesleyan Bobcats will be back in action this Sunday night against the Falcons of Notre Dame College, for a 7:00pm home conference match. Come out and support your Bobcats!
