Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Blanks Concord 4-0

Buckhannon, WV-- The West Virginia Wesleyan College Men's Soccer team would take on Concord University for a Wednesday Conference match up. The Bobcats are coming off a 3-0 loss against the University of Charleston, they look to bounce back against Concord tonight. The Concord University Mountain Lions come into the contest 1-2-1 in conference and 2-2-1 overall. The Bobcats are coming in 2-1 in conference play and 3-2 overall. 

27 minutes into the game the Bobcats would be the first to strike as Luca Falconieri would bury a goal, the Bobcats would take the 1-0 lead but the Bobcats were not done before the half.

Sinasi Emre Deniz would receive a pass from Connor Hartwell, Deniz would make it a 2-0 game and would be his 2nd goal on the year. The Bobcats would take the momentum into the half as they would be up by two scores. 

Concord wouldn't have any shots on goal in the first half opposed to the Bobcats 7. 

The Bobcats would come out with a purpose as Luca Falconieri would score his 2nd goal of the game, and 4th goal on the year, he would be assisted by Javier De Ona Garcia, the Bobcats would be up 3-0 with 30 minutes left in the contest.

The Bobcats would finish it off with one last goal right before the 80th minute mark, Connor Hartwell would drill one in the back of the net assisted by Nika Monaselidze, which would be Hartwell's first goal of the year. 

The Mountain Lions would go on to get a couple of shots on the board but not enough to do any damage, as the Bobcats run away with this game 4-0. The Bobcats had 17 shots opposed to Mountain Lions 2. 

The Bobcats will be back in action this Sunday night against West Liberty University at 7:00 PM, come out and support your Bobcats!
