The West Virginia Wesleyan football team hits the road again to face No. 14 Notre Dame (Ohio) at Mueller Field in South Euclid, Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.

- Kobe Vinegar and Shaq Freeman-Parks both recorded blocks on punts by West Liberty on Sept. 25.
- Devin Taylor caught four passes for 98 yards and three touchdowns at Concord on Sept. 18.
- Isaac (Ike) Dove forced a fumble (strip sack) and had an interception versus the Mountain Lions on Sept. 18.
- Cameron Lomax recorded a team-high 11 tackles in the season opener.
- Trey Milam, Jake Folland, Vinegar, Amir Franklin-Branch, Mason Brubeck and Mike Sawyer have been selected as the 2021 fall season team captains.
Scouting No. 14 Notre Dame (Ohio)
The Falcons held strong at No. 14 in the AFCA Division-II poll after a 23-21 win over No. 24 Frostburg State on Saturday (Oct. 9). Notre Dame (Ohio( has been ranked in the AFCA poll for 28-consecutive weeks dating back to the 2018 season
Quarterback Chris Brimm has thrown for 11 touchdowns and 1,459 yards so far. Senior wide receiver Devanaire Conliffe has reeled in 431 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Linebacker Guam Lee leads the team with 45 total tackles, six sacks and four forced fumbles. Safety Antoine Holloway has intercepted five passes already this season.
Mickey Mental is in his second season as the Notre Dame (Ohio) head coach. He has been a part of the NDC football program sine 2009 as a graduate assistant. Mental was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2015 and assistant head coach in 2016. For his efforts during the 2021 spring season, Mental was named Mountain East Conference Football Coach of the Year.
