The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team (4-4-0) will travel to No. 1 Charleston (8-0-0) on Wednesday (April 21) in the Mountain East Conference tournament semifinals at 7 p.m.

Scouting Charleston
The reigning national champions picked up where they left off this year as they finished the regular season with a perfect 8-0-0 record, becoming the Mountain East Conference regular season champions for the seventh season in a row.
The Golden Eagles scored 45 goals in their eight regular season games whilst conceding just four. Gabriel Rodriguez finished the regular season as their top scorer with eight goals to pair with his five assists.
Keeper Marc Torrado kept four clean sheets in eight starts this season whilst captain Christos Charalambous scored seven goals and contributed four assists on the year.
West Virginia Wesleyan alumnus Dan Smee has won his first MEC regular season title in charge of the Golden Eagles this season after taking over as the head coach.
