The West Virginia Wesleyan men's and women's swimming teams prepare to travel to Ohio on Saturday (Nov. 19) and Sunday (Nov.20) to compete in the Corbiere-Merion Invitational.

Last Time in the Pool
On the women's side, the Bobcats fell to Franciscan. However, the women took no hesitation whatsoever to start off on a high standard. Relay team consisting of Crane, Dalle, Williams and Gentilozzi set the tone with a first place victory in the 200 yard medley relay coming in with a time of 2:01.62. Dalle then added points on the board for her team when she won her 100 yard fly event with a time of 1:04.80. The event after, Crane was able to touch the wall at 26.59 giving her the first place position in the 50 yard free. Dalle continued her outstanding performance in the 50 yard fly when she came in first place with a time of 28.98 and Bennet right behind her at 30.77.
For the men, Jack Gutekunst placed first in the 200 yard free at 1:55.13 and again in the 100 yard breast at 1:10.01.

The Bobcats will hit the road on Saturday (Jan. 14) for a meet versus Frostburg at 1 p.m.
