CANTON, Ohio- The West Virginia Wesleyan men's and women's swimming teams will travel to Ohio and will compete in the annual Mountain East Conference/Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships at C.T. Branin Natatorium from February 16-19.
Last Time in the Pool
Last time in the pool, the men's and women's team won on Senior Day against Wheeling. The women earned first place in both the medley and free relay. The women had strong performances in the 200 yard free, 100 yard back, and 50 free helped secure the win. The men outperformed the Cardinals in the 200 free, 100 back, and 50 free to help give them the lead.

- Senior Marc Bennett earned first team and second team All-MEC recognitions as well as being a two time finalist in 2019 and 2020.
- Senior Morgan Choffin earned MEC swimmer of the week (November 2021). This is the second time Choffin has earned this award in her WVWC swim career.
- Senior Hannah Cook received MEC honorable mentions in the 2019 and 2020 season.
- Junior Amanda Schlor received MEC First Team honors in as well as being a 2020 GMAC/MEC finalist.
- Head Coach Collin Meadows is completing his first season while Assistant Coach Theresa Burgess completes her third season at her alma mater
Past Championships
Last season, the WVWC Women's Team placed third in the MEC and sixth overall. The Men's team placed fourth in the MEC and sixth overall. In 2018, both teams were conference champions.
