Buckhannon W.Va.: On October 25th, the Mountain East Conference released the preseason poll for the 2023-2024 Men's Basketball Season. West Liberty University who are the defending MEC Conference Champions, were picked to finish in first place. Followed closely by Charleston and Fairmont State, who are always strong contenders in the MEC Conference. The Bobcats' were ranked last in this preseason poll, receiving only 10 votes.

The Bobcats' will open up the 2023-2024 Season against Edinboro University of Pennsylvania on November 10th at 7:30 p.m ; at the Joe Retton Arena in Fairmont, West Virginia. The Bobcats' will look to improve upon their 2-25 record from the 2022-2023 Season.
