The MEC Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Deniz, a senior forward from Istanbul, Turkey, helped West Virginia Wesleyan go 1-0-1 this week with a win over California (PA) and a tie against Concord. He scored three goals and fired four shots on goal during the week, with all three goals coming against Cal U in non-conference play.
