West Virginia Wesleyan's
Brett Vincent has been named the MEC Coach of the Year. Vincent, a Shinnston, West Virginia native, helped the Bobcats to a 18-6 overall record and 15-5 in league play while securing the overall No. 2 seed in the MEC Tournament this week. He is in his fifth season at the helm for the Bobcats.
Vincent will take his team to the Mountain East Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday, Mar. 5. The tip is scheduled for noon against the winner of the #7 Frostburg State vs. #10 Point Park game to be played Wednesday at noon.
