West Virginia Wesleyan Names Paige Harman as Head Coach of the Lacrosse Program

West Virginia Wesleyan College is excited to announce Paige Harman as the next head coach of Bobcat Lacrosse. "I am so excited and extremely grateful for this opportunity. Thank you to the WV Wesleyan administration for putting their trust in me and bringing me into the Bobcat Family." Coach HarmanĀ 

Harman has years of experience as a player and as a coach. She was a four year starter at Furman University, where she played in 70 games and scored 130 career goals. In those games, Harman became the program's second leading scorer (249), second all time assist leader (119), first in most assists in a season, and first in most points in a season.Ā 

Coach Harman has spent the last season as a graduate assistant for the Gardner-Webb Women's Lacrosse program as the offensive and draw coordinator. The team had an increase in team assist, shot production, and draw controls compared to the previous season.

"We're thrilled to have Paige join the Bobcat family." VP for Intercollegiate Athletics Kyle Hoffman on Coach Harman. "She had a hall of fame caliber career at Furman, and her working at the D1 level will be helpful to get the best out of our athletes."Ā 

Coach Harman spoke on her vision for the program, "I am looking forward to building a competitive, hardworking culture and developing student athletes on and off the field." The Bobcat Lacrosse team will be back in action this Spring for a new era on campus. Let's go Cats!
