Women's Lax Ties Frostburg State

BUCKHANNON - West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Lacrosse team competed in a hard fought competition against Frostburg State with a final score of 12-12.

The Bobcats led at the half 10-8 with Frostburg State eager to close in on the lead in the second half. Frostburg scored the tying goal with just a few minutes remaining in the competition.

Wesleyan was led by Kimberly Lubic scoring 4 goals followed by Katie Kennedy and Hannah Antonelli both scoring 2 goals. Samantha Pappas, Natalie Schaffner, Madison Duvall, and Lovely Ordonez-Lopez each contributed a goal. The team was able to capitalize on their turnovers throughout the game, having one less turnover than Frostburg State. 

West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats advance their overall record to 1-1-1 and will return to action on Saturday for a home match up against Ursuline (Ohio), facing off at 4:00pm.
