The Lady Bobcats will host Frostburg State at the Rockefeller Center on Wednesday at 5:30 PM. The last game that Wesleyan won was against this very same Frostburg team in the first game of the MEC schedule on November 23rd. Since then, it has been a tough run for the Lady 'Cats, playing inconsistently over these past two months, hanging with a handful of good teams, and not stacking up well against others. They have a chance to put this streak to bed on Wednesday, as Frostburg is 2-14, and hasn't won a conference game since November either. In fact, Wesleyan has played well their last three games at the Rockefeller Center, playing with Urbana, WVSU and Concord until the final whistle.

Storylines

Given the situation that both of these two teams are in, and that they match up similarly against one another, this should undoubtedly be a close game. The first team to 70 points should win this game, and the addition of a third contributor will also determine the outcome. Both Wesleyan and Frostburg have two double-digit per-game scorers, with an inconsistent supporting cast all season. Recently for Wesleyan, it has been either Courtney Wilfong, Abi Gabauer, or Cierra Tolbert that have stepped into a scoring role for a game or two to compliment Gilyard and Stawovy. It seems that it is mentioned every week, but if the Lady 'Cats can get a solid game from just three or four individuals, they will win. They are not far off, especially not on the home floor of the Rockefeller Center. Frostburg State coming to town might just be what turns around the rest of this season.
