The West Virginia Wesleyan (2-4, 1-3) women's basketball team will travel to Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday (Dec. 7) for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff. The Bobcats will wrap up the week with a home game versus Notre Dame (Ohio) on Saturday (Dec. 11) at 2 p.m.

- Symphonie Bryant-Brown's 15.0 points per game scoring average ranks 10th in the Mountain East Conference. The freshman from Laurel, Md., has scored 20 or more points twice this season.
- Courtney Wilfong has averaged 10.8 points per game in her first six games. Wilfong has shot 36.4% from beyond the arc.
- Cierra Tolbert dropped 17 points and hauled in 18 rebounds in the Bobcats' victory over Salem on Nov. 17. Tolbert is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game, which ranks fifth in the conference.
- Freshman Electra Allembert's 9.3 rebounds per game average is the seventh-highest mark in the MEC.
- Imani Jackson has made 37 out of 43 free throw attempts this season. Jackson's .860 free throw percentage is the sixth-highest in the conference.
- Head coach Brett Vincent picked up his first win at WVWC on Nov. 17. Vincent completed a nine-year stint (2012-21) as the head men's basketball coach at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C., where he is the all-time wins leader.
- Courtney Haines joined the WVWC women's basketball team as an assistant coach in October of 2021. Haines was a four-year starter at Penn State Fayette and earned a spot on the USCAA D-II All-American team in 2017.

Scouting Alderson Broaddus
The Battlers have non-conference wins versus Shaw University and Virginia State University and a MEC overtime victory versus Wheeling.

Sophomore Iyahnna Williams has scored an average of 16.3 points per game this season, good for seventh in the conference. Williams, a Cleveland, Ohio, native, is shooting 54.9% from the field. Ariyah Douglas has dished out 32 assists. Nyshae Weaver has pulled down 54 boards.

The Battlers are led by Summer Quesenberry, who was previously the assistant men's basketball coach at Urbana.

Scouting Notre Dame (Ohio)
The Falcons are 4-4 overall and are 3-1 in MEC play. NDC defeated Concord at home in double-overtime on Dec. 4.

The Falcons have four scorers who average more than 10 points per game. The leading scorer for NDC is Alana Ellis, who is averaging 16.9 ppg. Tamia Ridley leads Notre Dame (Ohio) with 11.0 rebounds per game. Lilee Carlson has distributed 22 assists in eight games this season.
