The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team will play two home games against Notre Dame (Ohio) Wednesday (April 14) at 3 p.m. and Alderson Broaddus on Saturday (April 17) at 3 p.m.

Scouting Notre Dame (Ohio)
The Falcons sit atop of the Mountain East Conference with a 5-1 record. NDC suffered their first MEC loss of the season Sunday (April 11) to Frostburg State. FSU won convincingly 20-9.

Ebony Reddick leads the Falcons with 30 goals in 2021. Amanda Paino has scored 28 goals. Kendal Johnson leads NDC with 10 assists and has scored 23 goals.

Mackenzie Levine is the NDC netminder. Levine has made 89 saves this season.

The Falcons are led by Ben Morhac, who is in his second season at the helm of Notre Dame lacrosse.

Scouting Alderson Broaddus
The Battlers hold a 2-5 MEC record. AB defeated Charleston on Sunday (April 11) by a margin of one goal. The Battlers held an 11-5 lead with 16:41 left in the second half. Charleston stormed back and scored six consecutive goals to tie the game and force overtime. Leslie Diaz scored the game-winning goal on a free position shot in overtime to give AB the victory.

Bailey Fedun is the goals (20), assists (six) and points (26) leader for Alderson Broaddus. Patricia Chavira has caused 13 turnovers on defense for AB.

The AB goalie is Taylor Young. Young has made 80 saves in seven games for AB.

Next week WVWC will wrap up the regular season. Wesleyan will travel to Frostburg State on Thursday (April 22) for a 3 p.m. matchup with FSU. WVWC will then conclude the regular season at home versus Charleston on Sunday (April 25) at 1 p.m. in Buckhannon.
