The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team will play two road games against Charleston Thursday (April 8) at 6:30 p.m. before traveling to Elkins, W.Va. for a 2 p.m. game Sunday (April 11) versus Davis & Elkins.

- Senior Victoria Sisson leads the 'Cats with 11 goals scored. The senior from Waldorf, Md. notched a single game career-high in goals with six goals on Saturday versus Alderson Broaddus.

Scouting Charleston
The Golden Eagles are 1-3 in Mountain East Conference competition. UC dropped games to Notre Dame (Ohio), Frostburg State, and Davis & Elkins. Charleston defeated Alderson Broaddus 16-12 on March 27.

UC has two players with double-digit goal totals. Elishia Davis is the Golden Eagles' leading scorer. King has accumulated 24 goals and three assists. Tess Yuhas has scored 15 goals in 2021. Colleen Ryan is the Charleston offensive facilitator and has distributed 10 assists this season.

Georgia Ryan has played all 420 minutes in net for the Golden Eagles. The UC goalkeeper has made 57 saves and has a save percentage of 35.8%.

Akasha Kasper leads the UC women's lacrosse program. This is Kasper's second season leading the Golden Eagles.

Scouting Davis & Elkins
The Senators went on a three game winning streak to kickoff the 2021 season, including a road win against WVWC on March 28. Notre Dame (Ohio) handed D&E its first loss of the season on April 3.

Emily Smith leads the scoring attack for the Senators with 15 goals this season. Paige Graff leads D&E in points with 11 goals and six assists. Angelina Horan leads Davis & Elkins with seven assists.

The Senators' goalkeeper is Marissa Cuevas. Cuevas has made 35 saves and a GAA of 8.00.

Next week WVWC will have a two-game home stand Notre Dame (Ohio) on Wednesday (April 14) and Alderson Broaddus on Saturday (April 17). Both games are slated to start at 3 p.m. at Ross Field.
