The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team plays host to California (Pa.) this Thursday Sept. 2 in its home opener at Culpepper Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Vulcans haven't played an official game since the 2019 season due to COVID-19 protocols in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. In their first game of that season, the Vulcans lost in California, Pa., to the Bobcats 2-1 as
Javier De Ona Garcia scored the game winner.
California (Pa.) is led by Emedin Sabic who is in his ninth season as head coach, posting a record of 42-63-12 during that span.
