Men's Soccer Set to Play MEC Quarterfinal Match at Wheeling

The Bobcats look to advance in the MEC Tournament at Wheeling.

The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team prepares for a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday (Nov. 1) at Wheeling. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

·        Freshman Sam Newell led the Bobcats with assists in regular season play tallying a total of five and also registering four goals.

Scouting Wheeling
The Cardinals will host the Bobcats following a 9-4 victory versus Alderson Broaddus and dropping their season finale to West Liberty 2-1. Wheeling concluded their regular season play with an overall record of 7-10-1.
Midfielder Diego Buenano leads the Cardinals as a freshman with seven goals and four assists to his name.
Brandon Regan takes the Cardinals to tournament play in his first year as the head coach for the Wheeling men's soccer program.
