The Basics
The West Virginia Wesleyan women's basketball team will begin Mountain East Conference play on Saturday (Nov. 19) when they will travel to Frostburg Md., to take on Frostburg State at 2 p.m. 
Quick Hits

• The Bobcats posted a record of 3-22 overall and 1-21 in the Mountain East Conference during the 2021-22 season. 
• Wesleyan returns nine players from last season.
• WVWC added eight freshmen in the offseason.
• Fairmont, W.Va., native Courtney Wilfong returns to the hardwood for WVWC. Wilfong averaged 11.2 points per game and averaged a team-leading 2.8 assists per game.
• Electra Allembert returns to the floor for her sophomore season. The 6`3" Forward averaged 7.3 points per game and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game. 
• Akalah Jackson, Caitlyn Sullivan, Kenley Kveton, M`laya Ainsworth, Alani Murray, Jasmine Tabor, Samiah Lynch, and Emma Witt all joined WVWC this offseason. Witt is a freshman from Staunton, Va., where she averaged 30.9 points per game and 13 rebounds per game throughout her high school career.
• Brett Vincent is entering his 2nd season as coach of the Bobcats. 

Scouting Frostburg State
The Bobcats have posted a 1-1 record to begin the year. Iyahnna Williams is averaging a team-leading 33 points per game and seven rebounds per game. Emilee Weakley averages 25.5 points per game and a team-leading (7.5) rebounds per game. Olivia Ramsey and Ashley Norling both average four assists per game. 
 
Jenna Eckleberry is entering her first season at the helm of the Women`s Basketball program for Frostburg State.
