BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Lacrosse will welcome the University Mount Union on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Bobcats and Purple Raiders met last season for the first ever with MU winning 18-2.

LOOKING AT MOUNT UNION
This will be the season opener for the Purple Raiders. Mount Union finished the 2022 season (12-5) overall and (6-2) in the OAC. MU made an appearance in the conference semifinals where their season came to an end, losing to John Carroll 22-14.

LOOKING AT WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN
The Bobcats enter (0-1) overall after dropping the season opener to Ashland 21-6. Emma Adcock scored a game-high five goals in the loss. Gabriella Gomez had 11 saves as well.
