West Virginia Wesleyan's Emma Witt was chosen as the MEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week 

Witt, a 5-9 junior forward from Staunton, Va., continued to light up the scoreboard for the Bobcats as Wesleyan posted a 3-0 week to improve 16-5 on the season. Witt averaged 20.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as the Bobcats defeated Wheeling, 57-52; West Liberty, 61-53, and Warren Wilson, 96-43. Witt highlighted her week with a 25-point, 12-rebound double-double at West Liberty and was 15-of-17 from the foul line for the week.
